Express Travel was incorporated in the State of Florida in November of 1989. Backed up by a staff comprised of combined hundreds of years of experience in retail, corporate and vacation travel , Express Travel is committed to providing its clients with the best service at the best price in the industry.

Throughout the years, their personalized approach to arranging travel for its customers, has placed Express Travel among the top travel companies in South Florida. Express Travel prides itself in repeat clientele and referral business which comes only through customer satisfaction.

Express Travel’s reputation has earned them numerous awards throughout the years including one of the top 250 Hispanic companies in the nation, number sixth largest women owned business in the State of Florida, ASTA (American Society of Travel Agents) award for Agent of the Year, and included in Florida Trend’s supplement on Miami Dade County as agency responsible for handling most of the international travel in South Florida, among many others.

Express Travel is a preferred vendor for the major airlines, hotel, car, cruise and tour companies in the industry. The strategic alliance formed with the most important suppliers, benefits their customers by obtaining certain concessions when needed through the relationships that have been established through the years. Their personalized attention begins by assigning a specific team-agent to each account.

Our Story

When Olga Ramudo, Cristina Jacomino and Rosa Maria Delgado left Cuba as children shortly after the Revolution, they never thought they would be partners in Express Travel, one of the top travel companies in South Florida.

As adults, they enjoyed their roles as wives and mothers, and then pursued their professional careers. As part time consultants at the same travel agency, they became friends, and their volume grew such that it warranted for them to venture on their own and open their own company in 1989.

Express Travel prides itself in relationships. Many of their customers have relied on their services for over 15 years, just like various of their staff members have been a part of the Express Travel family since it started in 1989.

Today Express Travel is one of the largest Hispanic companies in the nation and ranked among the top 10 women owned businesses in the State of Florida . Express Travel has received numerous recognitions throughout the years including, Travel agency of the Year by the American Society of Travel Agents; Number 1 travel agency in South Florida by CBS news; Governor’s Small Business Award from the State of Florida; Influential Businesswomen in South Florida from the South Florida Business Journal and many many more.

Olga and Cristina are still involved in the day to day business operation. Rosa Maria is now retired.

Express Travel’s services include corporate, vacation, cruise, study abroad and meetings and incentives departments.

Community Involvement

Express Travel is a firm believer that in order to give back, you need to be involved in your community. Memberships include: Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce, CAMACOL (Latin Chamber of Commerce), Beacon Council, SFMSDC (Southern Florida Minority Supplier Development Council) Greater Miami Visitors and Conventions Bureau, NAWBO (National Association of Women Business Owners), Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce, and OWIT (Organization of Women in International Trade)
