Express Travel was incorporated in the State of Florida in November of 1989. Backed up by a staff comprised of combined hundreds of years of experience in retail, corporate and vacation travel , Express Travel is committed to providing its clients with the best service at the best price in the industry.

Throughout the years, their personalized approach to arranging travel for its customers, has placed Express Travel among the top travel companies in South Florida. Express Travel prides itself in repeat clientele and referral business which comes only through customer satisfaction.

Express Travel’s reputation has earned them numerous awards throughout the years including one of the top 250 Hispanic companies in the nation, number sixth largest women owned business in the State of Florida, ASTA (American Society of Travel Agents) award for Agent of the Year, and included in Florida Trend’s supplement on Miami Dade County as agency responsible for handling most of the international travel in South Florida, among many others.

When Olga Ramudo, Cristina Jacomino and Rosa Maria Delgado were children in Cuba, they had no idea that one day they would be partners in Express Travel, one of Miami’s most successful travel agencies. Olga and Cristina left Cuba after the revolution in 1959. Rosa Maria arrived in the United States in 1960. The women married, enjoyed their roles as wives and full-time mothers and then decided it was time to pursue careers.

With a strong commitment to service, Express Travel was incorporated in November of 1989. Many of the staff members that started back in 1989 are still with the company today, 24 years later. Employees are treated and considered as part of a big family. The owners feel that THEY are the key to the company’s success. Express Travel has been featured in books such as The Spirit of Cuban Excellence and most recently in The Cuban Experience by Emilio Estefan.
